Looking for a new affiliate marketing course to give me direction or guidance.

I have been around Affiliate Marketing for about a year now. I have a 9 to 5 and am looking to escape the rat race.

I am not like everyone else who has purchased ebook after ebook after wso and not acted on them.

I own Sara Young's Easy Paycheck Formula, Pot Pie Girl One Week Marketing, and have been a member of Wealthy Affiliate and I am a War Room Member.

The courses that I have purchased so far to date are "Sara Young's Easy Paycheck Formula", it really made me believe that I could make $100 a day using all free resources. Since it is 2011 I do not believe this is the case anymore I think I need to start using wordpress.

I started with this course around October I have sold $1789 worth of Amazon products for a $92.67 commissions so far. I am $8 dollars away from passing the $100 threshold and recieving my first check.

I have not earned a dime with Pot Pie Girl's One Week Marketing. I think when I recieved this product squidoo was way past dead already.

I made 1 clickbank sale applying what I learned at Wealthy Affiliate.(i really want to make clickbank work for me but i have had the most success with amazon but the commission are very disheartening.)

Inside the war room I have not been able to find much info about affiliate marketing. (sorry if its in there I just cant seem to come across it.)

So guess what I am trying to say is this is the year that I want to make affiliate marketing work for me. I have added up my total expenses that I need to live on and it comes up to a whopping $1586.55 a month or $52.87 a day. With that amount I would be able to quit my 9 to 5 and focus on my 2 years of college that I have left.

So my fellow warriors there you have my history with affiliate marketing and where I am looking to go with it.

Any advice or any courses that you can recommend me or point me in the right direction will be very appreciated.

Also in a couple of days I should be recieving my $5000 student loans so I will have a little spare money to apply for domains, hosting, auto responder etc.

Thanks in advanced.

Good on you for wanting to get out of the rat race and get into making some serious money.

If you do a search on google you will find some very good courses and other places to learn affililate marketing. There again, I think it's always better to do some research on google on things like the hottest products and the hottest web sites.

Most bigger websites offer Affiliate programs. Sometimes it's good just to jump on in there and do it.

Are you already know how to get buyer keyword for your affiliate review sites?

If you don't, I'll take some time later to explain everything that I know about keyword research.

If you already know how to make high converting product review, you can combine it with buyer keyword to get review title which laser targeted on buyer.

    Why you need this?

    1. Buyer keyword easier to convert.
    2. You can use free sites like squidoo to convert (they already have everything you need)
    3. You only need little work on your part.

I'll be back in about 4 hours later if you need me. After this, I'll do my exam and after that, I'll surely trying to help.

    • Yes these are my parameters for keyword research.

I use keywrods that are products names are variations of product keywords.

For example if I were going to promote the "head microgel radical mid plus tennis racquet" from the amazon bestseller list

a few of my keywords would be :

      head tennis rackets review

      head radical microgel mid plus

      head radical mid plus

I would use these and many other keywords that meet my search, competiton, and MNF analysis.

I don't think that keyword research is my problem I think that its these garbage blogspot review sites that I am making or getting traffic to them.

I made that page based off of Sara Young Easy Paycheck Formula and a Combination of Amazonian Profit Plan.

For example here is 1 of mine : Start Cutting Strokes Off Your Score Today With The Callaway Upro Go

on that 1 I average about 17 visitors a day. I have been trying to get more traffic

Okay thanks for the help I'll be waiting and working on some other stuff in the mean time.

        Hey Chris,

Are you looking for a one off fee course or a community with a recurring fee and continual info?

Are you interested in an intense course that will take time (several weeks) but give you a very solid grounding in all aspects of SEO or

Do you prefer a quality course that you can read in one night and get moving with right away?

Let me know and I will send you a few recommendations from ones I have taken and greatly profited by.

    I've just read your review.

    Here is my 2 cent:

    - Your review is definitely turn features into benefits, but it is kind of boring in my opinion. My advice is study about copywriting a bit. Learn on how to create story or at least learn ice breaker phrase.

    - Your review title "Is the Callaway Upro Go The Best on The Market? Find Out Below" --> I think it is less attention grabbing. I would say it like this:

"Warning: This Callaway Upro will Make Your Friends Upset"

"Golfer? Ready to Improve Your Games Score with Callaway Upro?" or

"Is Callaway Upro better than [other similar product]?"

    - Is it gain good review on amazon? How much the potential traffic it get if you put it at first position on google?

    - Your call to action is lacking something...

first, it don't appear like a link (in my opinion it looks more like a headline). Link gaining more conversion if you make it look like link. Which is blue, with underline.

And try to add '>>' sign (&raquo) at the end of your call to action. Make it in center of page instead of in right of the pictures.

    - There are some feature haven't turned to benefit yet "You get the pleasure of planning your next shot on a 240 X 320 high resolution color screen."

Give the reason why this is good thing for your buyer.

    - I need to scroll way to bottom to take a look to your buy button. You can put some button that lead your visitor to amazon review page. Cookies will placed and you don't have to worry about commission. You can add call to action like this:

"Click here to read more real user testimonial >>"

    - Your testimonial don't look convincing at all. Make it on blockquote, make it italic, add name, add photo, add stars.

    - If I can look at it more, maybe I can give you more advice. I need to take a bath now.

Tips: I want you to improve your call to action, make call to action visible every time I hit 'page down' button. And add picture which is highly relevant with the product. I think golf course picture is a little irrelevant.

Best Tips: Don't stick to my advice, track and monitor your change, improve it. You can't improve on what you can't measure.

    Hope this little things help.

            - computers and office
            - tools and home improvement.

figure out the rest by yourself..

I just do little competition research dude, I find this term 'callaway upro review' with 590 searches / month being dominated by pcmags with 56 external link, with 10 page rank, 9 page rank, 8 page rank, 7...

What I mean is, it is hard to rank for... Find out another product if you can which don't have any relation with hobbies (hobbies related product usually hard to rank for due to competition).

The most crucial phase is finding right product in my opinion..

I think that is better. But my opinion isn't important. What important is the results.

I suggest you to track every link on your site. You can use bit.ly for free tracker and analyzer.

And what's important second is, what do you think about your review sites now? Are you having more faith with it now?

Strange but true, if I feel that my sites will convert a lot, it is convert a lot. If I feel that there is something missing, I'll look at mirror, say to myself "I want to know what element to fix in my review site tomorrow" and go to sleep.

The next day I know what I want to fix.

Hey Bro. I don't do much of the affiliate marketing that I think you are into much. I would rather have huge companies want to advertise on my site and bank serious bucks while doing things I am passionate about. But a lot of the models are similar. A very knowledgeable and successful guy in affiliate marketing though is Glen Allsop at ViperChill.com He has some killer stuff there for free. And a course as well I believe. Killer content that he put's out that you should benefit from.

Best of luck bro. Awesome that you are taking control of your destiny and making moves!

CJ, I too have been struggling for a couple of years now and am hung up on article marketing. Am right now seriously considering going with Wealthy Affiliate. It looks to me like a end all program that should even guarantee results. It really covers affiliate marketing, yet it does not seem to your answer.
What do you suspect was not covered by them to make you successful?
