Getting into Twitter. Example of your Results?

I'm a twitter member for a while, but I never really used it. It seems that many warriors is there.

Do you have example of your results and some "twitter super tips"?

Just get into the conversation. By default you will start driving traffic to your sit. I have made thousands of dollars off Twitter. I really enjoy the platform though.

Here's what happens when you follow a bunch of people on Twitter: some of them use tweetlater.com, or other apps, to auto-follow anyone who follows them. And some people also use tweetlater to automatically send a message to everyone who follows them saying something like, thank you for following me.

Some people, like me, do not auto follow - I get the email in my mail box saying someone followed me - I go check them out - and 99 percent of the time, I follow them back.

I have gotten thousands of dollars of business from Twitter. I spend an hour or two a day on there engaging in conversations with people and talking about ghostwriting and press releases, and some people order from me as a result.

If you put in the time, it is well worth it.

I see your point Paul.. and to be honest, as twitter is right now, the set up, community, operation, interface etc... I can see it staying really strong as a means of communication and more for a long time to come, but this could all change if the people behind Twitter decide to take it in a different direction..

Let me give you an idea of the power of twitter, there is a group of Public Relations people that have started a weekly tweet group.

Less than a month old, and last night there were easily 200 people participating in the discussion.

One of our Warrior Members is listed as the TOP 10 PR people on Twitter

The group is open and anyone could participate but it clearly was a professional group meeting with jargon and industry info flying through out the night.

The main point is, that while many people were twittering about their dog just spilled water on the carpet, or Why is there a long line at the car wash in Hollywood.

This industry specific group of leading edge social media experts were all in the same discussion. (you know the ones who don't accept followers with out permission)

Right there in the middle of the tweet stream,

There were a small group "The State Of Art for Social Media" planning and scheduling local and regional promotions and publication calendars for 2009.

These are the names that most of us have never heard before, but these same people have access to the ear to some of the heavy hitters in electronic media and social media.

For example:

• They talked about the one restaurant chain that did $60K in a 4 hour slot using ONLY TWITTER!
• Another national brand that is going to be doing a twitter coupon tied to mothers day.
• A PR firm that is looking to outsource its twitter accounts and create a six figure budget for twitter

Is it just a fad, Could be, will it disappear overnight not likely.

Its all in what you choose to see it as.

Is it some toy that kids play with?

Or is it a multi-national communications tool that within seconds you can watch a group of twitter - Moms, force Motrin to scrap a 7 figure ad campaign that had been months in the making.

You decide how YOU want to view it.

The most important thing in twitter is tring not to be suspended.
I have worked out following ways to keep my account live:

1) Add 100 friends with 30 seconds interval. This will take 50 minutes.
2) Remove all friends who are not following you, also with 30 seconds interval. This will take about another 50 minutes.
3) Repeat 1) and 2). One repeat takes 100 minutes to add and remove 100 friends, so for one day 24*60 = 1440 minutes, you can add and remove about 1440 friends, this number doen't out of the daily limitation and keeps your account's following number low.

I think this is the best way to keep your twitter accounts safe. ^-^
