I don't understand why you would need to be able to store more than 5,000 contacts unless your were not using the service for its intended purpose. If you want to be able to communicate with that many people via email then go and sign up for an autoresponder service such as aweber. Email accounts like Gmail and Hotmail are not designed for such large scale use.

I must admit - I am suprised they let you have THAT many contacts...

  • I would agree with WillR, you can't possibly be using the service as a genuine contact list so you run the risk of getting your account closed any way.

Like WillR said, you should sign up for a proper autoresponder account which won't get you shut down.
