Advice re new release

I am planning a release in March/April 2011 and wondering if it is better to do it here or via JV Partners, where will I find the right kind of affiliate?

I will be looking for people who are Doers, you know people who realise they are there to MARKET & SELL. It is not an IM business like so so many systems being sold these days. It is providing a real service that people need and want. The affiliate will not have to provide the service, we do all of that.

I can't tell you what it is, but I can say a bit about it, perhaps you could tell me if I would be better selling it on here.

First off we will be charging $997 or even $1497 to keep out the tyre kicking crowd, we may even make that an annual charge. We will split this with super affiliates and also provide a lot of it as rewards for good activity each month.

There is an initial product affiliates will sell for $97 with a 75% commission, there is an upsell (not promoted immediately) that earns them another $227, so $300 for every full sale.

The market is huge (billions), it operates all over the world, but I am thinking of limiting entries to 500 concurrent and active affiliates, I say active because we will kick out people who do not deliver a minimum of 15 squeeze sales per month.

It is a compelling sell and we fully expect to get 5 upsells out of those 15, we also expect there to be easily be at least 30 squeeze sells a month. So 30/10 would give a revenue of $4455 a month, obviously earnings could be a lot more for the star performers who invest in their business.

The good thing is that it is not selling vapourware or a promise to make money, it is a compelling sale of a service in great demand and that can be cost justified to the customer.

Affiliates will not have to talk to customers if they don't want to, but they will increase their conversions if they do. We are thinking are having two levels of affiliate, those that want to manage their customers and those that don't.

We are developing a load of affiliate resources, including various different squeeze pages, keywords, email texts, a CRM, scripts for calling, banners, webinar training, everything you would expect and more with complete websites with articles they can spin or modify. There is a demographic so media buys may be practical. We will not advertise our site in our banners, we are service providers and want to respect and reward our affiliates.

Those who are not technical may redirect their domain to our hosting platform, so it maintains their domain name.

What I am trying to get from this post is some feed back about where to launch this. There are lots of good things I like about WSO Pro but I am worried we may get too many people looking for a magic solution rather than a business.

Please do NOT pm me asking about this, I want all responses here in the open. I am NOT looking to recruit or promote this, that would reduce the impact of our launch.

I just want feedback about what you do and don't like about what I have said we plan to do. Be as harsh as you like, tell me what else we could be doing for affiliates.
