How Long Do Your Article Submissions Take?

This question is in regards to directories other than EzineArticles. Is it just me or does it take literally months to get articles reviewed and approved at article sites like Content Caboodle or any of the Article Friendly sites. I've got articles in the "pending review" list at Content Caboodle that I submitted in September and October. These are NOT "declined" articles. They're "pending." How long should I expect them to "pend?"

Thanks.

I have only tried a few non-EZA directories (like GoArticles and ArticlesBase) and they all post my articles within days. Maybe you're submitting to the wrong directories

GoArticles approves my articles instantly and ArticleBase is within a day easy. Sorry, I don't know anything about Content Caboodle.

I think I have found my answer. I'll stick to the best directories. Thanks folks!

  • Articlesbase takes 72 hours when you are first starting out, near instant once you get rolling.

A lot of people fall in love with the idea of having their own article directory. They see EZA, with thousands of pages of keyword-loaded content all plastered with their Adsense ads, and figure that they've found the keys to the vault.

In the beginning, keeping up with submissions isn't that tough. So they start working on getting more submissions. Happy day, they get picked up by a submission robot, submission service or info product. The flood gates open...

Pretty soon, they're so far behind, they just give up. Some go to auto-approval, which means they'll be clogged with digital sewage in days. Some just let things sit until they reach their storage capacity and their host cuts them off. A few get their act together and find a system for managing the volume.
