Help With Creating Videos

Hey i recently started using videos to advertise my website and it is going well, but i want to do something else i want to capture everything i do on my computer screen turn it into a video, edit it, and then publish it.

Just wondering what software is the preferred choice to do this as there are many to choose from.

And also, is there any free software out there i can use to make my first video??

The Best way to capture video on your computer is to
use Camtasia 6 they also have a free trial full version
for 30 days.

Try it before you by it.

camtasia is the way to go on this without a doubt

I learnt it in one day and can produce a good video in less than an hour

you can star with jing and then upgrade to camtasia studio....

Jing- will allow you to record only a 5 minute video(screen capture) so you will need to break up longer screen captures into multiple video segements. Cost free

Camtasia studio- Free for 30 days the best I have found for beginners with limited budgets. A great product.

The ususal suspects, Camstudio which you can pick up for a few bucks then once you've made some sales, grab a copy of Camtasia. Not sure if you can add audio after the fact.
