Hello new to the board, where to start?

Hello first day on the board. I like many of us I guess am/was in adult marketing, and have been for a long time. I am just getting started in mainstream and this board seems to be a very knowledgeable place for that area. Any suggestions on how/where to get started on the board.? is there a list of tutorials to read?
Much appreciation for your time

I would invest the next 2-3 days reading as much as I can from this:
allinone - WarriorForum - Internet Marketing Forums - Threads Tagged with allinone

After that, I'll see what I resonate with and what I want to specialize in.

The biggest piece of advice I can offer is don't get caught in the trap of buying ebook after ebook, etc to try and learn everything all at once. Learn how to set up a wordpress blog, then once that's done, then go out and get a course on building a list, etc. Buy/study only what you need at that time so you continuously take action.

I agree with Matt - just don't get caught up buying product after product all promising ways of making money fast.

Do your research and the allinone threads are a good place to start. Then choose what direction you want to take and then stay focused on your choice.

Do you have any skills or services that you can offer people? If you have certain skills then that can help in your decision as to what path to take.

Join the War Room, look at the section titles "My Ideas, Strategies and Plans."

If there's anything that's going to get you full benefit from here, it's that one little powerful section.

I am intimately familiar with WP and basic SEO , backlinking etc etc , as I said I am not a newbie webmaster. I have been making websites since the mid 90s actually,
in the last 3 to 4 years I was in adult, which is similar in some ways but vastly different in a lot of ways, to mainstream, and it is the mainstream part that I am trying to get a handle on.
Thanks VERY much for the tips, and I dont think I will be buying ebook after ebook after ebook. When I started off doing one mainstream buss in 1995 I taught myself to program etc and had that buss,(owned it , I was not an affiliate, but I paid people to put my ads on their sites, by the click at that time)
But being an affiliate, especially in mainstream is a skill that has to be learned, and after looking at a few other forums, this forum seems to be not only hopping, with members, but extremely helpful

Thanks again for taking the time to answer me

The absolute #1 piece of advise I can give you is to not get started by buying every ebook out there. Take your time and look at what others are doing with their sites. Read the posts here on Warrior forum, you will learn a lot just doing this. Learn the ins of outs of how to set up a Wordpress Blog. Once you get your blog up, I recommend you have an opt in on your Blog where visitors can opt-in for something you may be giving away for free related to your niche and in return, you will be building a list for your business. And concentrate on only one thing at a time. Don't overload yourself to start by trying to learn it all at once.
