Hello warriors, I have been wondering if wordpress can use html coding such as adding tags instead of getting the all-in-one seo pack and if their is a way that you can add tags then can you please let me know how. I will really appreciate it

You can do all kinds of crazy stuff with WP, the only thing standing in your way is a knowledge of html and php.

So when I go to edit the post, when i click on that html option, if i used html to make a description, and keywords tag, will that also show up on wordpress?

You can do it manually by editing the theme in a text editor such as notepad+ But I would recommend wordpress seo by yoast because you can edit the individual meta tags in each post.

Like jasonmorgan says, you can do almost anything with Wordpress. It is a matter of understanding code. However, if you mean by tags things like title tags and meta description tags, some Wordpress themes (or frameworks) make this easier than others without having to use AIOSEOP.

Thesis and Genesis are two frameworks that allow you to control the meta tags for pages and posts (including tag and category pages too).

No - without coding you won't be able to do that unless you
    a) pick a theme (like the ones I suggested) that have meta tags built in, or
    b) use All In One SEO Pack (AIOSEOP)
