Never had a problem BEFORE they changed to this new site. Hopefully they'll solve this issue fast, otherwise, people will choose another registrar.

    Yep, it seems ok again.

Personally it was a first time - never had any issue with NameCheap.

    Hello,

I appreciate the information about this potential glitch.

I was thinking of using NameCheap as I understand that they provide "privacy" listings for their domain registration as an all-inclusive fee - total $9 US for domain and privacy.

Is there any other major provider including "privacy" in this price range?

And, is the only "glitch" NameCheap's search domain availability function?

    Thanks.

That is for the first year only. Thereafter it is $2+ per year (if I recall correctly). A .com renewal is just over $10, inclusive of the ICANN fee + the "whoisguard" (privacy) fee.

There are generally no coupon codes for the domain renewal but you can find $0.99 coupons for the whoisguard renewal.

Thank you piper97 for your kind reply. That information will help me make my decision and I'm glad that the site seems to be working again.

        Best Regards, Meg
