For an approximation, that's pretty concise

Gonna need a lot more information than that. Is that an "Exact" search count? How many total pages indexed for the term? There are lots of unknowns here.

In most cases it's impossible to put a dollar figure on how much it will cost to get to page one. Some folks spend nothing, some spend thousands. Heck, some folks spend hundreds and never make it to page one.

I think you need to think more in terms of what needs to be done to get to page one versus how much you need to spend.

You're going to fail. If you're afraid of failure then you do not belong in the Internet Marketing Business. Period.

Too difficult to say without knowing more.
Check out the inbound links and domain ages for the first page of results of your term to get a quick idea of what it takes.

Remember that the amount of pages in the search result doesn't equal the competition.
    Keep that in mind.

You have to check the top 10(yes all them, not one) pages and check their backlinks, website content to see if it's possible for you to get on the first page. Ofcourse everything is possible, but giant's are huge to defeat.
