what do you put at the end of your domain??

Hey warriors i have recently found a keyword im targeting which is only 2 words and looks great

The .com .info and .org are taken

What do you do or know of the best way to tackle this?

Is it the right thinking in adding a "info" or "site" to the end?

Curious at what will still rank the best i have used the above before
but never seen what others think.

Thanks

I would recommend not using the .info. You will just get people looking for free information with a .info. What I would do is see if the domain name you have, which is only two words, would work if you put a - hyphen between the two words as a dot com. This would be as good as the regular dot.com domain and will work great. Hope this helps.

The next reputable domain extension is the .net. See if you can register that.

Or try using hyphens in your domain. From what I have been told, it doesn't affect the keyword strength.

    For example,

    dog-training.com

tried the hyphen no luck lol

Im looking to add a word at the end just wondering does this have major effect?

Adding an adjective might effect a little bit but from my experience, it shouldn't
be much of an issue. Go ahead with it...

Just some ideas. It all depends on your keywords you might be able to use a number as well. I got quite many with numbers, like Career1 or 1Auto or I do have used E at the front like Eexplain. But as I said it all depends on the keywords, what would go best.

If you are selling a product, try

            discount
            deal
            bargain
            shop
            discounts
            deals
            bargains
            dealsonline

EMD's are OK if you can get them, otherwise just get something with a word on the end and start your site.

The biggest benefit that EMD's offer you are "short term" benefits.

If you are selling Blue Widgets, you can have a domain like:

              www.jeffsinfopalace.com

...and if your content on the site sticks with the them of your main keywords and related keywords, you will still rank for Blue Widgets. You'll also want to make sure that you have "blue widgets" as anchor text pointing back to the site.

I only bring this up because at times I will see people pass up niches/keywords because they can't find an EMD...

As far as what to put on the end, here lately I've just been using a letter (A-Z), but If I were going to pick a word, I usually go with...

              "the" before the keyword phrase

              OR

Blog, Info, Data, Center,or Now after the keyword

    HI,
try to add words like x at the end of the domain name,
or e at the start of the domain name.

It always depends on the type of your site and its content before deciding to put any prefix or suffix.

    Simple.

If it's a big site, don't bother about the domain name.

If it's a small site (and you are trying to rank the EMD keyword), you better go with EMD to save your time and effort.

My suggestion would be a "the" or can you make one of the words plural by adding and "s".

I use Domain Search - Domain Name Generator - Domain Name Search | Nameboy.com when I run out of ideas myself. Not always but sometimes it gives me some very good suggestions and I end up registering the domain name it came up with. Tho not via that site I'm a fan of namecheap.

    Go for .net!!!
Don't go for .info.... if you want to buy a .info, then obviously your site should convey some information!!

I would only use .com at the end. Look for endings like examplehub.com, exampletown.com, etc.

I dont think he is talking about the TLD (.com/.org etc.) but he is saying he found a good name, but wants to add some word to the name because the EMD is already taken.

    Eg. acne.com <-- taken

So he thinks whether he would make a site like acneinfo.com or acneweb.com

I myself use short words like hub, web, blog etc. depending.

      Hi,

I would love some feedback on what domain is better:

      ekeyword.com

      or

      keyword4u.com

      or

      keywordnow.com

      or even maybe

      keywordstore.com

      Thank you.

seem not much choice, you only can use .info, .net and .co.
But it would better if you able to use .com or country domain extension.

Worst situation is choose the second option high search keywords.

I have an idea. Let's say that the keyword actually is plural and ends in an "s"

Let's use "teddybears" for the keyword.

What if I just added another "s" to the end.

      teddybearss.com

Would that be better than teddybears4u.com?

Thank you for your help. I appreciate it.

I would add words to the domain at the beginning or end to get a .com
and I would not use hyphens or underlines or numbers.
