How would Adsense or Affiliate feel about this?

I would like to have my dog site become a site where 100% of any profits through adsense or affiliate sales goes to a non-profit animal group. Would this in any way be looked at unfavorably by Google Adsense or Amazon? I would of course not do anything like say "click here and profits go to charity" but I would like to mention the site's donation policy somewhere on each page so people would realize that purchasing from the site helps support animal rights. Thanks.

I don't think this is a good idea. You can donate the money, but don't advertise that you are donating it. If AdSense found out, I doubt they would be happy, and might ban you - you should not be providing any incentive for someone to click on links, even if it's for a good cause in your opinion.

If you want to make money to donate to charity through your site, do it by selling your own products.

I'm not sure Amazon would care one way or another. If someone buys through your link, from your site, they make money. What you do with your share is your business.

Adsense, on the other hand, is a whole different kettle of fish. I could definitely see them saying you were soliciting clicks and closing your account. About the most I could see you getting away with is putting a statement on an 'About Me' page, as long as you didn't show ads on that page.

I agree with the others. Amazon usually doesn't care what you do but AdSense probably won't like it.

Google does not care if you use your earnings from Adsense for charitable giving, but they explicitly warn against using any language that might be in any way construed as encouraging clicks.

Here's the link to that explanation: https://www.google.com/adsense/suppo...&answer=115242
