firefox issue, any one else have it?

every so often i have to uninstall and reinstall the program.

It stops retaining my history, my book mark tool bar disappears, even though it has a 'space' for it. i am unable to move forward or back from the buttons, or from the right click option. There is no reload, nor active stop option. it also won't show specific url's for any address. IE: if I am writing and researching i c/p the url where the info is located, but i can't do that b/c it won't show any url beyond the one i typed in.

Nope. That hasn't happened to me. FireFox has worked well for me. But I've only been using it exclusively for about 3 months (before then I used IE more).

Yes, this usually happens on my Vista laptop, with the latest FF version installed.

Though I'm not sure what is causing it...

I had troubles with the FF3*. I'm not sure if it was too much for my computer, but I had trouble with it. I went back to the latest FF2* version and it works fine.

On my notebook with Vista I had several issues, but on the desktop I use FF since 4 years now, and no problems

it's only been since i've started to use a new desktop w/ vista that i've noticed the problem - my other puter doesn't have the issue, evidently it's a problem in process of being addressed...

Hasn't happened to me. I use both IE and FF. I use each about 50% of the time.

Nope, no such issues on me. I'm using XP SP3. Although one annoying is when firefox is not closed properly, it tends to revert itself to it's default form, which can be quite annoying.

No problems here either. I'm running Windows XP SP3 with Firefox 3.0.4

I've never had a problem with Firefox. It's been flawless.
