Design/Conversion: Social bookmarking buttons besides buy now button

Hi,

I wonder wheter placing the social bookmarking buttons directly under a "get it now" button has any effect (positive or negative) on the conversion rate.

I though I'd give it a try, because people who can't afford the program might accidently share the link which brings in a new flow of prospects...
Did anyone test that yet?
