Ezine Should Share Some Ads Profit With Authors! What do you Think?

Hi Everyone,
I am just wondering if Ezine would ever consider sharing some of the ad revenue with the numerous authors who fuel their Business. This is my opinion (I think this would promote more Quality Content and More Authors would be happier )
Just think what this means: I see the author with the highest articles is about 24,000 Articles so with all this views I think it would be more rewarding for both parties
A bit of maths here 24k articles can possibly deliver a 1000 views per day so That translates to a rip off in ad revenue for one Author!
Please Correct Me Am I making sense to anyone?
I will appreciate your answers Either way.
Thank you.
.Joe

Looks like the article directories don't need to share revenues, since you're effectively compensated in backlinks, one article marketing tutor estimates a good site typically earns $5 per article per month from traffic it attracts.
Some sites, like associatedcontent pay in cash, rather than link juice.

I see exactly what you mean. But my take is that EZA has a lot of bills to pay. It's by no means all profit (the AdSense stuff). I think in a real way the authors are being paid through the URL clicks to the author's sites. It seems like an equitable exchange.

Poorly crafted articles don't get clicks and that's kind of the penalty. The incentive for good, high quality articles is that they generate traffic--and traffic translates into $$$ or it should.

That's my take, Smartdoctor, but I understand your point. --Mike

I don't think its a good idea and it won't promote more quality content, the opposite would happen actually.

There's no way ezine articles would do this as they don't need to. It appears from the number of submissions they get, many are happy enough with "free traffic and backlinks".

Although one way it could work is for EZA to have another member status for those who have submitted say 500+ approved articles and who have an average of at least 4 star rating. That's one way it may work.

Don't see it happening I'm afraid.

I appreciate your opinion and the idea of making a new membership plan for 500+ authors is brilliant

The authors know that they are not geting ad revenue when they join and submit articles. I don't see where the rip-off is. If the site had promised ad share and did not deliver, then there would be a rip-off.

Both parties enter the agreement and both parties deliver on their respective ends. I say no rip-off.
