I need some help utilizing my time....what to do??

I seem to not be producing enough....
What I mean is I seem to not have enough to do with my new site...Does that even make sense?
I have written content for all of my key words, I am already on page 5 on google. I have an affiliate product on my site, I also have adsense.
how do I move up from here on out?
How to I get more visitors to my website? Increase conversions?
I don't want to spend money doing it. Do I add more products? Put more content? Backlinks?
I feel like I get everything I need to get done within 1 hour. How to I make my blog site more powerful with all the time I have on my hands.
I feel like I am doing nothing important for the majority of the day.

Any advice will be very appreciated

Ok, I was also spinning my wheels. Here's some advice that changed my business...

Your business has 3 main components:

      Traffic

      Products

      Promotion

Designate a time block for each day that you can stick to. Ideally, 3 hours per day.

Divide that time into 2 and focus one chunk on each task... religiously.

      Thinks about.

This. Page 5 is not nearly good enough. You need to be on Page 1

Would I be allowed to post the same article to multiple top directories? Say 4-5?
I have submitted all the articles I have written to Ezine, but I'm afraid of Google's god like rage if I get tagged as a spammer, posting duplicate content around the internet.

Of course, don't be misled by the duplicate content myth. As long as the article is something unique that you originally wrote, you can post it to as many directories as you wish.

Use the search tool in this forum to find posts regarding the duplicate content myth. Don't deprive yourself of crucial backlinks by only posting to one article directory!

Couple of things here....first off - you need to learn to repurpose your content. I can reuse the same article 25+ times or more. The last thing you want is to submit the exact same article to a bunch of article directories. You don't exactly need to use spinning software, but my merely re-writing the title and the first 100 words or so - you can use it over and over and get it ranked in multiple places. Using it verbatim in 25 places is just stupid and wasted time.

Also, there's a lot of good points in this blog - but the key one is to get outside your blog and promote - which of course builds backlinks, but also an audience and traffic before the google ranking comes.

        1. Promote on multiple forums, if only by posting like this and having your link in your signature
        2. Make a list of your competition (100 sites long) and offer to guest post on every last site
        3. Be an active participant as blog commenter on your competition's sites
        4. Signup for linkedin.com and use their group (forums) to post and promote
        5. social bookmark
        6. video promotion
        7. directory submit (just do free ones for now)
        8. do some press releases (lots of free places)
        9. use twitter and facebook

doing online promotion will keep you busy for a loooong time!

I agree its the usual - articles, good and unique content both on your blog and sent to article directories regularly, visiting and posting on blogs and forums. Keeping the faith, some weeks i achieve little, other weeks I achieve a lot - dont beat your self up over it - just plough on
    Thats my take on it

I think after doing so much thing if you are still stucked in page 5 then it better you try to follow quality link building with proper anchor text tagged. Try article, blog commenting and niche directory submission

One more thing you can do is creating a blog for your website. Regularly have blog post and try to link those post with your respective pages (internal linking)

Those are Infobarrel's TOS and if you want to be published by them, then you should follow their policy.

This is not, however, the definition of 'duplicate content' as seen by most article directories, which is: The same article posted on the same website.

When in doubt, always follow that respective directory's TOS.

It's really simple. Take a few days and figure out what your doing now that works and find out what is not working.

Whats not working are things your doing that don;t produce any income for you or to little income for the time spent on it.

Write yourself a daily to do list and organize out a daily action plan. when you do so you might even find a few things that are cost benefit to outsourcing.

This whole write articles build backlinks BS is way to hyped up here on Warrior forums kind of the reason I stopped poking around so much lol

Make a plan and stick to it. Write down what you need to do and put it in a schedule. But first you need details for your plan and something to actually put in your schedule.

So, read more in the forum and see if you can find some free traffic ways that can work for you. Then, be consistent and do the same thing every day whether it's writing articles or making videos and posting them to youtube, etc.

The whole idea of writing articles or creating other content like video, is that you can never have enough.

If you think about it, if you only have one article how many people are likely to see that out of all the people on the internet.

But if you have 100 articles submitted to various web directories and other websites, then the chances of people finding your site are much higher.

The same goes with video and any other content, and as people have said above, as long as it's original and you created it yourself, then there's no reason why you can't post it to multiple sites. (Apart from sites who's rules don't allow it - mainly because they don't understand duplicate content)
