Product creator needed?

Hi all,
Going into product creation and I'm completing my ebook. I've got everything in word and just put it into open office. I want it to look professional with proper fonts and images. and such. Just wondering should I just outsource or is there something available (course, videos) that walk you through fine tuning. Any suggestions? Recommendations?

Most product creators don't give you this information. They just say write your ebook, blah, blah, and get it out there.

If I outsource then I'm spending money and not learning how to do this. . .

What do you guys think?

Well, there's Automatic Product Cash, which is linked to the banner in my signature.

    Obviously, however, I'm biased.

I originally built that product precisely because it was so hard to find this information in one place for easy reference. But, obviously, no wine merchant cries "sour wine" - of course I think my own product is great. If I didn't, I wouldn't put my name on it.

CDarklock's product really is great. It answers the specifics of how to set up and format your ebook. Plus a lot more.

Just curious, why put it in OO when you have Word? You can save it as a PDF in word if you have 2007.
