Wordpress Membership and Subscription Plugin Commercial Recommendation

Can anyone recommend a commercial and well-supported membership/subscription plugin for wordpress that they have personally used? One that allows you to create password protected member's only content, and where the members are subscription based.

I have a website and I'd like to add a members-only subscription area.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Not entirely clear what are you looking for...

Around here "subscription" is usually related to mailing lists, auto-responders, email marketing and stuff like that.

However, your description (not the title!) of what you are looking for sounds more like a membership plugin.

If the latter, you may want to edit your thread title...

Digital Access Pass (DAP) is the best on the market.

      Have you used it personally?

Yes. I use it to run my entire business now. Which is 95% outside of the IM niche.

I use Integrated eCommerce Affiliate and Membership for WordPress which has a shopping cart, membership and affiliate all in one or you can buy as modules.

I use it every day in different ways and just works without a hitch.

I'm using DAP (Digital Access Pass) for my membership site recently, so I hope I can give you a little review on it.

DAP Admin panel is typically classic. It's used for HTML sites first, I guess, before it's made for Wordpress. But, when you use DAP, you will see a wide range of service that it supports and is supported. For instance, you can integrate Aweber with it. Clickbank and Paypal won't be a problem at all.

It's very easy to integrate with Wordpress. However, you will need to build your own member page template because the default template of DAP isn't nice.

You could ask me more specific questions to get to know DAP. Otherwise, you can look at MemberWing or MagicMembers, those are really good plug-ins for member site.

      Mike,

Thanks for recommending DAP. But I think you're mistaken about one thing though...

      >>It's very easy to integrate with Wordpress. However, you will need to build your own member page template because the default template of DAP isn't nice. <<

The "default" member page is only for NON-WordPress sites (plain HTML web sites). And even that can be customized further to your liking.

      Anyway....

WordPress users can put all of the core member-facing components ("My Content", "Profile" and "Affiliate Info") all right within your WordPress blog, so that it looks like, and becomes a part of your WordPress blog. So those pages become as pretty as the rest of your blog.

See this post for more info:

      Hope this helps.
