    Shouldn't you ask whoever told you that?

    I find that it is a lot easier to make some micro niche websites and get them to #1 in Google. Either Adsense or Amazon works great. The best source of passive income for myself.

    Autoblogging means you can blog on any topic even if you have no previous knowledge about the subject. This is because you have thousands of articles and videos out there about any topic, no matter how small the subject is. You can leverage these resources until you get yourself educated enough about the topic to be able to write about it yourself.

    I set up a couple of auto blogs a year ago and forgot about them as I took on a big project. Looking back now they are creeping up and starting to generate a fair bit of money. Now I kinda wish I made a ton of them... Definitely works if you do it right!

    I have tried autoblogging in the past with some minor success, but I do it with a twist, I try to add unique content once in a while and also try to show some "Human activity" on the blogs that way they remain safe, I've had some good results.

    Autoblogging is not necessarily the best source for passive income. It is necessary to find what works best for you and work with it. I, personally, use autoblogging, amazon reviews, adsense, and a few other methods. It is always good to have more than one thing making you money.

      I'm not sure that autoblogging is the BEST source of passive income. Any method that works for you and generates revenue is good.

      Autoblogs have their good points and bad points like anything else. Obviously the "auto" bit is what most people like. Not having to write content and not having to manage the blog.

      Downsides? well I think everyone knows their not exactly flavour of the month with Google so may feel they may just a one more Google whim away from losing their auto blog income. I personally suspect that's unlikely for the vast majority though. Their sheer number of posts make a backlink strategy difficult and time consuming so they are often left to fend for themselves. They do need to have a little time under their belt to start performing.

      Upsides? Well as said - very little work after the initial build. So that means you should have lots of time to build lots of blogs.

      Something I think many forget, or don't realize, is that autoblogs need just as much keyword research and build effort as any other blog if you want it to perform.

      Why is the best? I don't think it is, it's just another weapon in your IM arsenal.

        I think the question is flawed.

        Any answer presupposes agreement that autoblogging is the best source of passive profits, and, like Tony, I don't believe it is for everyone.
