I;ve searched high and low for a script to create a site like answerbigger, but to no avail.

Does anyone know of any?

Only rule is that it can't be Wordpress as it seems to fail at aggregating as it slows down too much.

      I think you've failed to spot the sites aggregation abilities. I am not looking to start my own questions and answers site. Sorry.
