How to get local results in Google.COM

Hello Warriors
I have this little problem. I am from Europe and lets say I would like to build a website for those who live in LA. Since I access the web from Europe I can not analyze local results in Google, because I don't get any. I get general results that rank best over all in Google.COM, no local results or local Ads.

What is the solution here? How can I trick mr. Google to show me local results? I would need that for all major US cities.

    Hi, I don't know if this is the answer you're looking for but you may want to try it out. Why not try searching for the type of business and then add LA on it. For example, if you want to search for coffee shops in LA, type in "coffee shops LA" or "coffee shops in LA." If you used this and there's still no results, try clicking on Maps, which is located above the Google search page and see if it will generate local results for you.
