Review My Amazon Site

I need help - I have an amazon/adsense site that has been up and running for about 60 days and I'm moving up in the SERPs. Just want to make sure that my site is in order before I make it to the top.

Help me

At the moment your not ranking for anything so before that happens keep building pages and links.

I just took a quick peek and I do not see the Privacy Policy that is required by Google or the Disclaimer notice required by the FTC.

            • Add privacy policy and disclaimers pages.
            • Use Call to action buttons instead of the text link pointing to Amazon you have in the products. They will increase your click through rate.
            • If your intention is to monetize the site selling Amazon products, you can add a "Products Review" section with review type posts and keep it separated from your "Articles section".
            • Regarding the design, try to change the header and use a custom made one. This will make your site look more professional.
            • I, personally, do not like to use Adsenses in affiliate sites because I think they distract people. You want your visitors to buy what you are promoting. So, focus your efforts in building a converting site and do not give your visitors a reason to leave. Those few cents you will earn when they click a sale can cost you loosing a commission.

Do you still need an FTC disclaimer notice on your Amazon site if you live outside the US?

First of all, great job on taking action. The site is a good start, but I would suggest more content and focusing on specific sports. Why do your customers want to use these products? To Build speed, power and agility for .....? I'm guessing that you are an athlete, base your content on your experience.

      Speed training for football players
      Conditioning for marathons
Build explosive jumping power for basketball
      etc.

Other random ideas: Write an article about how you used xxxx to decrease your 40 time. Shoot a video on how to use it or find one that's out there. Get some testimonials on there. Do some forum marketing.

It doe not hurt to put a disclaimer on your site, to cover yourself. I say YES, and the privacy policy is required.

Another comment in addition to what has already been said . . .

Amazon sort of frowns on affiliates being the ones to add product prices into the reviews or write-ups themselves. ("site may only show prices and availability if: (a) we serve the link in which that price and availability data are displayed; or (b) you obtain Product pricing and availability data via the Product Advertising API")

Oh, the $34.99 chute is not available and Amazon says they don't know if/when it will be back in stock. I'm just making this observation. I would be interested to hear from others how bad it is to promote items that are out of stock. After all, it will happen from time to time.

      Peace.
