You Might Fail Miserably if you..

I'm into finding what really works. I think it's also important to know what doesn't. Here are some of my thoughts! (uh oh)

You Might Fail Miserably if you..
  1. Don't treat your customers like human beings - There are people on the other end.
  2. Spend all of your money on products that "definitely get results."
  3. Fail to realize that it's you that ultimately is going to get the results, not some quick fix program.
  4. You're dishonest.
  5. You don't SHOW YOUR FACE and make yourself known.
  6. Don't know how to use the social world in a smart way - Connecting with other human beings.
  7. Don't try to make friends on the forum - Lot's of people spend their time commenting negatively. For what? To prove some point?
  8. Believe there is a "quick fix" out there.
  9. Don't think you'll be at this for a while.
  10. Think you can copy someone else's work - You're crazy
  11. Don't use ingenuity. Be original, breathe fire on the "box" and think totally outside of it.
  12. Don't create "activity management," where you strategically manage what you do on the net and segment it into time slots.

And much more! Add to the list friends!

To quote Tim Ferris, its not enough to think outside the box. You have to take action outside of it!

Everyone dreams up ideas at one point or another that can make them a multi-millionaire. The problem is, most of us don't do anything with that thought.

. . . knowingly deliver less value than what you promised.

      . . . try to please everyone.

      . . . forget you have a business instead of a job.

Love this! You said "knowingly deliver less value." I'm totally with you on this.

Trying to please everyone! Definitely a quick route to failure or discomfort!

Business instead of a job, totally aligned with this.

        Thanks for replying Michael.

You're spot on with this - I use to be a "mental mess," never really zeroing in on specific targets - Things changed when I learned to focus.

All about treating customers with respect - so crucial.

      Thanks for replying.

I believe that with customers, there is a good saying that no one goes by anymore, and thats "the customer is always right". There maybe times when it gets out of hand and the customer is just blantantly misinformed, but when you cater to their needs they like you more and treat you with respect. Its nice to know when a business actually goes out of the way for the customer and it will generate repeat business.
