Free Traffic Checklist (What I Should Do To Get Traffic)

Okay I have a site I'm promoting.

I understand that with free traffic (seo, backlinks) I will get

1. initial trickles of traffic from the backlinks i've made (forum posting, blog commenting, social media linking, bookmarking)

2. eventual bigger traffic from keywords ranking on google months to a year later on...or atleast that's the hope.

So far, here's what I'm doing...


-blog commenting
-posting forum profiles


What else should I do next?

    I don't see much value in posting forum profiles, unless you are also using those forums. However, there are many who swear to the contrary.

    1. Use facebook
    2. Use twitter
    3. Post on Digg
    4. Create articles and post them on article directories/ this can work well for you
    5. Youtube, Create short videos, they don't have to be long, about 1 minute

    The above will get things rolling for you, there are a ton more methods you can approach if you want to drive traffic, these methods will get you noticed faster than most. Good luck.
