What Is the Best Source of Solid Internet Marketing Info?

What is the absolutely BEST source for obtaining SOLID Internet marketing information? This question especially has relevance to new online entrepreneurs and even intermediate affiliates who still struggle with maintaining consistent revenue from web-related campaigns.

If you are one who has this very same question in mind, then you probably have noticed that, when you type in a Google query related to "Internet marketing," you receive a multitude of results. Yet, a very common one issued to newbies is this...

Just sign up for a free Clickbank account, write one article and submit it to Ezinearticles, and have the author resource box point to an ordinary web-site link (which you own) that simply redirects to your affiliate coded offer.

It still amazes me how so many online marketing "experts' tend to oversimplify such deetails -- making the operation seem so easy that a three-year-old can go online and start generating cash like crazy.

Sadly enough, the realities of making money online, even for people who ARE well-equipped with great online income strategy plus significant web-master expertise, proves to be far different than the previous description. Five to ten years ago, surely, such a strategy worked.

In fact, it worked SO very well that Google changed nearly ALL of its online search and traffic implementation algorithms -- mainly because the SPAMMERS had a field day with such formerly "easy pickings" online. Today, however, the concept of Internet marketing contains entirely new challenges.

For one, nearly NO single endeavor (outside of pay-per-click related advertising via Adsense or Adwords) consistently produces immediate plus LONG-TERM online income results without being backed up by supportive, authoritative links. Linking strategy brings up yet another aspect of viable Internet marketing strategy.

However, we will keep this post short for now, and invite more discussion with a focus on answering the original question above...

In other words, in your opinion, or according to your unique online expertise, "What Is the Absolutely BEST Source for SOLID Internet Marketing Information?"

Asking for solid information depends on experience.

For someone with no experience, I'd recommend The Challenge, a free interenet marketing course.

The WF is pretty good except it takes a while to be able to tell who is offering knowledge based on valid experience, and those that love to respond to posts regardless of having anything to say.

I think the most solid information for intermediate to advanced people are paid forums. StomperNet comes to mind as probably the most solid paid site information I've seen. I'm sure there are others.

Hi, that's a very broad question, in my own experience (limited) so far, I can only say that it's a matter of continual searching, for anyone who we as individuals, feel a connection and a trust with. I am only really involved with network marketing, although I have also looked at afilliate marketing and very briefly at CPA. Again, personally I 'scour' the Internet and if I am particularly impressed with someone, I will usually bookmark and keep returning, if i pick up valuable information, then I will share it with others via my site, and place a comment on the site I visited.

It's such a huge world out there, I cannot possibly believe there is just one, absolute best source of information, any more than I can believe we are the only intelligent life in the universe!

Please let me know if you find it, my list of bookmarks is getting way too long!

Jenn, to expand more specifically on that, I'd say the War Room is probably one of the most invaluable sources of solid IM information you can find anywhere on the internet!

Top of the charts for the real deal and the real nitty gritty is this forum as it has saved me from being ripped off in the past and I have also learnt a lot and now know the right questions to think about. In the beginning you do not know what you do not know, if that makes sense. The guys in here really know their subject. Then I would look at the blog of someone like Frank Kern from the marketing point of view and you can check out free information on his Mass Control blog, regarding CPA then for me I learnt a huge amount from the free content of Gauher Chaudhry, Amish Shah, and Philip Mansour. I also learnt that there are a large number of people who do not know what they are talking about but as I can say anything good about them, I won't say anything. Hope this helps and best regards, Nickimfx

    Hi Ken,

One thing that I have discovered over time is that a lot of the best resources are actually offline in books. I highly recommend that you read books, particularly on the topics of video and social media marketing. It will start to come together much more clearly once you do so.
