Extra Clickbank Cash Using Your Existing Wordpress Blog, "Sniper", or Review Sites

Thought I'd share something pretty cool that may help some people...

There's a lot of people out there building small, 5 or 6 post "sniper" style Wordpress blogs and monetizing them using Clickbank products.

Nothing wrong with that, but you could be leaving money on the table...

When you create a smaller Wordpress blog you're limiting the amount of keywords that blog will rank for in the search engines.

You will spend time building backlinks to the main domain in hopes of increasing your blog's ranking.

The number of backlinks pointing back to your domain matters and will increase the ranking of all your content in the search engines.

A lot of people think they build backlinks just to get the main domain of the blog ranking high for their main keyword. This is good, but you are also creating backlinks to get individual pages/posts ranked using the "authority" of your main domain.

If you've ever looked at a tool like Market Samurai one of the determining factors is the number of backlinks pointing to your main domain.

But if all the content you have on your blog is those 5 or 6 posts, and you have 5000 backlinks pointing back to your domain, you will only get traffic for a limited amount of keywords.

This basically wastes link juice that you could be using to get additional pages ranked high in the search engines.

A great way to scale things up would be to create more pages by reviewing Clickbank products. The new pages will usually receive good search engine positioning since they benefit from your domains "authority".

One thing that holds a lot of people back from doing this is that it may change the look and "feel" of their site.

The exclude pages Wordpress plugin can be used to hide specific new pages from your blogs navigation therefor not changing the look of your site.

Basically, the only thing seeing these pages are the search engines and the people coming in based on keywords they are searching for which would be Clickbank product name + review (or something similar).

You can take advantage of this little piece of knowledge 2 ways:

1) You can develop a content rich site, filled with useful information. When a person visits yourdomain.com all they will see are great articles (with maybe a link to a product review(s) under each post ) people will like the site and not think it's "spammy". When people like your site they will link to it or pass it around virally (Facebook - Twitter). Not to many people like "spammy" Clickbank review blogs.

But the minute they look for a product review for a Clickbank product your individual page with the review will appear in the search results because the individual page will have some "authority" thanks to the domain it's on.

So it's basically like making money on the back end.

2) If you're promoting one clickbank product such as "Mass Auto Traffic" and have a sniper style domain such as mass-traffic-review-bonus-best-great-not-scam-proof.com.

You can add additional "hidden" review pages for other Clickbank products related to traffic generation. (you will still have a relevant site in Google's eyes since it's still traffic generation related)

The next time a traffic generation product launches, you will have an advantage since you are using an already established domain with backlinks so all you have to do is create a new page in Wordpress and uncheck the "include page in navigation box".

You will be all set up to "snipe" the next launch with your ONE review page because that's all it take to make a sale.

Leave the page "as is", or you can build some backlinks to the ONE review page for the product to increase rankings even more. When you build links to one specific page on your site it's considered "deep linking". This will benefit your site as a whole.

Hope this post makes sense, it my not be ideal for newbies but those with a little experience will hopefully know what I'm talking about and put it to use.

Yes, this actually works...

    Very good point!

Since many people already have multiple sniper websites they are managing, they now have the ability to write up one product review, then post that review across multiple domains with a change to the intro/conclusion paragraphs.

This way you are leveraging your network of sites while not having to do additional work in writing a brand new review.

You could start to really dominate the front page this way for product launches.

    Again, great post!

    Mark.

I'm glad you like the post, this actually works quite well especially in niche markets outside of IM where Clickbank products and SEO are a little less competitive.

You can take advantage of new products it doesn't have to be big launches.

How about we take this just a little bit further though. Once you see that that new page is indexed why not take that review and submit it to an article site like goarticles. Just make sure that they allow those types of articles. Now in the resource box you are allowed 2 links. There for build one to your homepage and one to the actual post on your site.

But wait lets take this even further now. Lets take that same article once again and submit it to a site like free traffic system. Once again you get to place 2 links to your site. One link shoulld point to your main site and the other should point to your actual page. Now you have atleast 30 new links for you main site and the actual page. So even if someone with a better ranking site then yours does a similar review for the same product. You have a chance to have several front page listings for that one article. You can also use redirects to promote the actual product if you would like. But to me I would rather bring them to my site to read all of my offers instead of sending them to the product from someone else. This is just me and you are free to do with this information as you please. But I have also always been a fan of building a simple review page for my homepage. Then creating a blog as my secondary page so that I can target more keywords as you pointed out in your post. Best of luck to everyone hope this helps.

    Very Good Tip Mark!

This is a win-win situation. Your sites get better rankings due to more content while improving page rank at the same time. This is a great way to increase sales!

    Thanks again!

      Great Tips ! Thanks !

As Petevamp has rightly said, Syndicating the blog posts to EZA and other article directories are a great way to get back links as well as traffic.

From my experience, if you're going to syndicate, rewrite the review, then submit it. Don't use the exact same one that's found on your site...

Is there a reason why you do this?

I'm just wondering because other warriors recommend submitting to places like EZA without any changes.

I don't have a deep understanding of Article Marketing, so would be interested to know if there are any advantages to doing this.

I don't do it because I want the content on my blog to be unique from everything else out there.

You get the same SEO value (and probably the same number of clickthroughs if you're going for traffic) with a modified version of the review/article as you would the original.

Many times, Google will not list the same piece of content twice in the top ten search results. At least not for slightly more competitive keywords. There are exceptions obviously, but generally speaking.

So if you rewrite the article, there's a better chance of both your blog AND article being listed in the top ten since they're "different" from one another.

Just my opinion, and that's the way I do things... your results may vary.

Oh really? But EZA guys themselves say that we can post the same on their directory provided the author name is the same. But personally I feel that it will be duplication of content and not a good thing to do. Right?

In the case of duplicate contents which will get higher precedence? The blog or the article?

I use the same technique with my Amazon niche sites. I create pages with review for brand/model numbers. One model number per page. This creates multiple entry points for buyers.

Wow, another awesome thread from Mark full of juicy awesomeness! This guy never stops thinking of ways to look at things that are not what everyone else talks about.

And he's totally right. Just look at your stats if you have a bigger site with dozens content pages that are SEO'ed. You'll probably find all kinds of traffic coming in through your inner pages, not all through the homepage. That's because you're ranking for those lower competition keywords and all those trickles of traffic start to really add up if you keep adding more pages to your site.

Sounds simple - and it is - but it's also completely true. The more pages of content you add, it's like adding another little traffic siphon to your site. You build authority AND traffic. Sweet!

Thanks for yet another awesome share, Mark!

BIIIG fallacy to only focus and link to the MAIN site.

Your sub-pages and articles are ranking also! Dont make the mistake and only have an offer on the main page and THINK that the sub-pages and articles are only "to help" your main domain.

Site visitors NOT only land on your main domain...but also (and often) on your sub-pages. It's therefore a good idea to have banners/offers etc. SITE-WIDE so they show up everywhere no matter where the visitor is coming in.

    ***
Furthermore: Don't use PAGES - except for contact us, terms, privacy etc.

The reason is you want a good site structure with tags and categories.

One of my older sites became kind of an "authority" site throughout the years....and i can put a little review up and it WILL rank very well within 15 mins of putting it up.

George, I think we're saying the same thing...

I don't know about the don't use pages comment. If you're setting up your site with a permalink structure such as yourdomain.com/clickbank-product-review, pages are very effective.

Combine this with a SEO'd title and description it makes for good rankings especially if your main domain as a lot of links pointing towards it...
