My Personal Stepping Stone Guide to Making $1000 A Day Online...

This thread started as a response to someone asking how to make $1000 a day and transformed into a much longer than expected individual post of my own.

These are the exact steps I mastered (in order) to fully learn Internet Marketing. The same steps that I built my business with and earned me well over $300,000.00 alone my FIRST YEAR marketing online (nearly 5 years ago now)...

...And all Just by mastering ONLY FOUR out of nine steps listed below.

My business model is based around owning my own product in a hungry niche. Each step mentioned is a stepping stone and you will be required to learn exactly how to do each one on your own and from industry leaders in their respected markets if your smart. A.K.A. Skip WSO hype and learn from those who have made a name for themselves industry wide (Copy writing -> Dan Kennedy... PPC -> Perry Marshall... and so on)

More importantly, I have no motive to post this other than to genuinely help you if I can. I have no wso or product "coincidently" leading this post in my signature. I want to help fellow marketers, not try marketing to them

So lets get things rollin,

Expect a long year of learning, applying what you have learned and failing 80% more than you will succeed.

Master each one in this order:

1. Identifying hungry niches on your own (no one will hand a niche to you, find niches yourself)

2. Learn keyword research and pick out the best keywords for your niche with the highest consumer intent.

3.Truly try to learn how to write your own sales copy. Get your hands on guides from the legends in the industry such as Dan Kennedy, Gary Halbert, John Carlton, Yanik Silver, Frank Kern.............. Put everything you humanly can into writing a sales letter that converts to the best of its ability and things become SO much easier for everything you do.

4.Learn PPC! Many beginners are afraid of adwords for two reasons... i) they don't fully understand it & ii) It costs them money before it makes them money. This is the fastest way to send traffic to your sales page and it gives you crucial data quickly that helps propel you forward to the next phase of your business...

If long tail buyer keywords don't make a conversion after 200 clicks in a niche proven to make other people money, your sales page/copy needs tweaking. If you cannot get targeted paid traffic to convert, don't even bother waisting your time looking for ways to get free traffic.

Adwords gives you valuable keyword data you cant find anyplace else when it comes to how many people search the keywords in your niche. With conversion tracking set up you can quickly find out what keywords bring in the most traffic and what ones have the highest conversion rate.

Again Learn from the Pros about AdWords like Perry Marshall and so on.

Expand a profitable campaign to other PPC networs such as Microsoft Ad Center, Facebook, Plenty of Fish, Ad Bright.... Not all will work for every niche but everyone that does adds to your bottom line!

5. With a better understanding of what keywords are worth going after and the knowledge that you have a site that converts... Dive into SEO headfirst, never surrender and never look back.

SEO was definitely the biggest mystery and even the gurus really held back in all their products. There are definitely methods out there gurus wont talk openly about even in exchange for a good chunk of money. I dedicated 16 hour days and 7 months solid to mastering SEO on my own and it was the best thing I have ever done... and now I know it, I keep my sites and knowledge a secret too.

In VERY basic terms, quality backlinks and patience will set you free!

6. Once you now have a converting landing page and are obtaining lots of paid and organic traffic... Implement building an email list of your buyers.

7. Develop new products related to your niche and start cross/up selling them.

8. Master email copy writing and promote your new product/affiliate/JV offers to your email list of buyers.

If you have truly worked through mastering this list step by step, I guarantee you will be earning 6 figures a year and the reality of earning 7 figures will seem very real at this point. Sadly enough, most will never successfully complete step 3.

So , what is bonus step #9?

You might have heard people give methods and say Rinse & Repeat at the end of it... Well I would like to expand upon this and add a step of my own -

9. Rinse, Repeat & Outsource.

Now you have mastered every aspect of internet marketing on your own, outsource the little things that take lots of time! Train others to do things exactly how you would do them (train them, don't expect them to know exactly what you want done)

This way you get more results faster and you can free up time to put more focus into the aspects of your business that need the most attention (copy writing, Split testing, Networking)

Hope this post has helped give you a outline and direction to stick to if your serious about building an internet marketing business and not some hobby or passive side income.

Just like any career offline, there is a load of information you will need to learn and a lot of hours put in working on what you have learned after.
