How to make money online when you don't know what works

I see many new people wanting to make money online and even veterans with too many choices and not enough focus on their minds, that really struggle finding what makes money online. Information overload doesn't help either, there's always something that purposes to make you money faster than what your already doing, or at least our minds justify the time to try it that way. That's just the first layer, the second layer is different individuals getting different experiences and outcomes doing different things.

For example you could have a person making $150 a day with ad-sense, another making $100 per day with amazon associates, Clickbank could be even higher. CPA well that just goes sky high with ppc and media buys.I just need to list the main ones for you:

Adsense
CPA
Clickbank
Amazon affiliate or your own products
affiliate marketing
email marketing
membership sites
your own products
wso
offline marketing
freelance

I am sure you know of more but what I want you to think about is the level of depth involved in each of these. There is quite a bit and although you can associate and integrate a few of them reasonably well with one another you would still be missing one important factor!

The important factor is 100%, before you decide to research your new found mega secret to making a million in an hour is your existing endeavour even if its making you $10 per day at a 100%? can you confidently say that you have finished what you started?

The successful individuals of this world are all finishers in one way shape or form, they execute what they a start right through to the end, you could call it achieving ones goals. But I and a few better than me like to call it being a finisher or maximiser not just a starter.

You need to if not finish then maximise the potential of anything your start and only then should you move on or add something to your work flow, without finishing or maximising what you start how can you guarantee any success from your next big secret? The end lays with you and how you get there is all up to you, you are your own restriction.

I just want you to really think about how changing from one thing to the next (with out finishing or maximising its potential) really hurts you rather than builds your experience or your wealth. Each time you do your starting from point A and learning all over again and that's time consuming to start with, but then you may not even reach your potential with the next thing you have started before your off again.

SO just chill ya self and focus!

Peace

I just discovered what worked for me by simply trying different things, being patient, testing the results and abandoning what didn't work.

Testing, patience and time are the main factors.

Jumping from one opportunity to another when you're just starting out can be a surefire way to failure. Information overload is one of the most common reasons a newbie simply quits. So it's important for a newbie to just stick to one proven method until it starts making money.

I've tried loads of different things, but the most successful has been my Freelance Writing Business, which has provided me with an income for the last 3 years.

This is very true Dan but then come the case of a dog chasing its tail what is the one proven way when every one tells you that every other thing is the proven way. One way to avoid this I feel is possibly be-friend and individual that is creating wealth and learn from them. Others would call this get a mentor but I think that get a blank expression in most cases because How do you get a mentor? most think you would have to pay for one. That's why I say be-friend ask this person what you can do for them in return for them teaching you what works be a true friend to them.

If your looking for fast success with low failure get a coach/consultation, DM for skyp bookings.

I agree. It takes time to experiment and find out what works best for you. Not everyone enjoys doing the same thing. Some of us like to multi-task a little bit too much but we have to remember not to get caught up in all the hype and just do what works.

I think a person never knows until they have really felt the feeling now feeling the feeling can come from seeing the results or getting stung by slight failure the common thing is that it never hardly sinks in until you actually go for it and try it yourself, You can read stories about others successes every minute of the day and spend all your 1440 minutes ( or 24 hours) doing so, confusing research with actual action is also a time sucking leech.

Excellent post. And yes, one needs to understand (have the eyes to spot) what's maxed out and what's not. If you are not leveraging the platform that you have built to maximize your returns, you are wasting your efforts.

    Patience, focus and determination
I look for an interesting topic, do the keyword research and check out some of the competition, and if I think I can rank for some words I test with lower competition ones.
Set up a blog and write articles, get some backlinks and keep going.
I've made $200 in the last 10 days using this method from 1 blog. I'm no guru - but its growing all the time.
I used to get distracted by all the new "secrets" that the gurus would sell me for just $47 and I ended up not knowing what I was doing from one day to the next.
Build a blog, and get words on pages
    It works!

What about something new like social media Facebook, now i`m developing Just For Apps On Facebook. Not bad, Facebook Apps really can be like the new Adsense.

I started out in MLM, shortly after that i moved to another thing etc etc... After testing a lot of different things i finally found what i was good at and what i wanted to do.
Therefor i think testing is good when you have the time and money to test things.
But without money i would just to some deep research into things and look what would bring in fast money for small investment.
Research is the key to make money online.
Yes there are 100'ds of opportunities online you can try, but what will eventually earn you money?

There are tons of free stuff online, all you need to do is search for it!

I agree, try everything, find out what you enjoy doing, and do it. Here is an easy idea. Buy a software that performs a marketing or seo task like article creation for example. Offer your services on Fiverr, get clients, build a list, and start making money. It won't be a lot but it's a start.

I think most of IM go through some courses and direction and only then define what works for them...

Some prefer email marketing (to communicate with people) others like to create and promote niche sites and don't want to communicate with people...

    It's up to you!
