Hi People,

I have a product that I want to JV. But as it is my first product I do not know hpe to setup an affiliate program for it??

Can anybody point me in the right direction of the simplist and easiest way to do this today??

I came across Post Affiliate Pro 4?

But I am at a dead end as I have no experience with this so can any warriors shed some light on the best way to do this!

    Hi GoGetta,

Have you considered using ClickBank? I am not sure what type of product you are offering, but some marketers start with Clickbank and then use a portion of their profits to purchase software to manage their affiliate program.

My next question ... are you more concerned about how to set up software, or which option is the easiest?

first thing you need to workout is what type of business model
you are going to work with...

Are you going to go after buyers?
Or just a straight sell 50/50 split
    type of affiliate program.

You need to work that out, that will
    determine what affiliate system you
    go with or affiliate company.

Johnny Slater have a great product
Simple Member pro or you can go
with the $7 script or RAP for instant
    payments.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the replies,

    Its a digital information product,

I just want to go the easiest route, So I can track what is affiliate sales as opposed to my own. I thought of clickbank, How long do they take to approve a product???

Also David you mentioned scripts? Are these easy to install?

yep all these scripts are easy to installed and as I said they all do different things so it depends on what's your business model.

It normally takes as long as 3 - 5 days, if you have followed their rules. Some get approval even sooner, as early as 24 hours. Just be sure to focus on their policies, in particular the 'client contract'.

      Hope this helps,

There's also PayDotCom.com who I use for my affiliate program.

Very easy to set up and manage, but as David says, you need to work out what your business model is going to be first before you decide the best type of affiliate program to use.

    Hi

I track what my affiliates are doing in two ways...

    1. My Clickbank products go through Adrian Ling's EasyClickMate

    2. For non-Clickbank products I use the Rapid Action Profits sales system.

Have a look at those and see which fits your business model best.

I used paydotcom for my latest release and have another one setup with clickbank. Both work OK for me.

Personally, I'm finding it tough to find affiliates. What's the best way to find partners and affiliates for my PLR club?

    Thanks,
