Secret to Article Marketing and Making Money

You're going to love this. The secret to article marketing and making money is...

***DRUM ROLL***

The word "secret."

I'm serious! Every niche I've been in, this one keyword is the most searched, most coveted and most powerful among keywords for that niche. By weaving the word secret into an article's title I can increase its traffic by 10-30%. I have done split tests to try this out and every time it has proven to be the case.

So are you using this secret in your article marketing campaigns?

Won't argue, but I do hate to see words like that overused - and they ARE over used.

Just in general, powerful, thought-provoking and curiousity-peaking words are what lead to more conversions. You just have to weave them in the right way, rather than making an article sound like an extravagant sales pitch.

Putting the keyword in the title and at a rate of 2.5% density is key to getting your article read. What about getting people to click your links, what is the secret to that?

3 Things: blend the resource box into the article so it actually seems to the reader to be the last paragraph of the actual article; give a strong call-to-action (click my link!); give them a reason to click that link (highlight the big benefit).

I guess I have been doing it wrong all this time.

In order to achieve 2.5% keyword density in a title requires me to use 1 keyword in every 40 words.

So, to ensure that I don't go overboard with keywords in my title, I should make absolutely certain that I never use fewer than 40 words in my article titles?

Thanks for your help man. It is appreciated.

Writing for people and not search engines is the best way to ensure people read your article. That is the most important reason we write articles, isn't it?

Yes, for those of us not infatuated with Google.

I have to confess I am also slighty a 'sucker' for the word, SECRET. LOL, it's what made me click on this question!
I am still suffering somewhat from information overload in the Internet/Affiliate Marketing world. I try to remember that the reason my head feels so full and tired evenings is because my braincells have been multiplying like crazy lately. The good thing is that studies show that more stimulation and learning DOES increase your brain size. So that gives me hope!
