    Yes, I've noticed the trend.

Offline marketing is not for me. At least not yet. I would like master online marketing before I attempting something else.

perhaps for non offline marketer, it's time for us to seek the expert, and start interviewing them. Then, setup a WSO, selling or giving away for an email

    Just my 2 cents

he even helped Noah create a Top 10 list of some sort.

PS, I created an Off line Business WSO many moons ago and it did very well.
Maybe I should update it with what I know now and give it new life!

Lol, I have tried out offline marketing myself and the hardest thing is persuade clients how Internet marketing can help them bring in new customers...The answers are really dynamic and sometimes, you'll need to show proof to them.

Best of all, documenting your portfolio now and build a website, Warriors

Yes. it is a definite trend right now in the WSO's of the day.

I offer a smaller sized package service for my offline clients. That seems to work pretty well for both of use. I don't have to deal with a lot of headaches, they don't have to shell out a lot of money they are afraid of not getting back.

Looking into the crystal ball, I am thinking it is not going to be long before the novelty wears off of an offline business having an online presence.

Could also be the area that I live in, pretty old school. I can usually rank a client's website, just by content and a press release.

Yes I notice that offline marketing is becoming popular now .. especially where google is starting to display local businesses and maps on the search page.

The other trend I observed recently is "deal of a day" kind of site like groupon.com too.

very interesting to see such movement in the IM world

Well yes the local search is great for local business, i use google alot to find local business, the big problem that many local business are doing is lacking website address, and SEO their local search. People would want more details about their company, etc.

We can use both, but again.. it best to focus on IM first, get it down to profits, and see how we can make more money by using offline too.

All of the effort to become online markers just to turn around and become door-to-door salesmen.

I shall remain in my cocoon and only communicate with others through digital means. Organic creatures, stay away.

Maybe some of us still confusing, when we talked about offline marketing in IM world. (at least for me).

When warrior talk about offline marketing, my first thought was, a FUSION.
Combination between internet marketing and offline marketing.

Where, we had blessed with internet marketing skill and are using it to help offline marketer have their business present to the world.

Nowadays, people find solution through internet but not all solution can done by ourself.
One of simple example, lets take plumbing.

Even though there are a lot of 'how to' guide about DIY plumbing, I still prefer paying couple of bucks for my sewerage problem than do myself.

So, what I'll do, instead of searching "how to fix stuck sewerage" I'll search, "plumber at Louisiana" as example.

There where us, the IM, come to help.
Rank the website for local plumber
Give details what the local business offer and so on.......

Most the WSO of the day, that talk about offline marketing, they don't really talk about how to setup offline business, instead they teach how to help offline business.

    My 2 cents....

    Honestly, I hate the idea.

    Why?

Because most people can't figure out how to rank or make a buck with their own sites.

For those who can, more power too you.

I don't want a mechanic working on my car who learned everything from an ebook and hasn't actually fixed a car before.

From some of the offline products I've seen... get reseller account, grab a couple of free WP themes, outsource backlinks, charge 1k. Or in other words, screwing over offline businesses owners who don't know any better.

Sorry, no offense, but I can't agree with you.
      People are paying for results.
If he get what he want, then it doesn't matter how much he pay.

He maybe can find some folks doing it for few hundreds only, but, the outcome?
