Hi pplz,

I am facing some problem as in which type of pages should my articles in ezine to point to..?

1) articles >> sales page (own product)
2) articles >> blog >> sales page

Which do you think is better?

For me i think that pointing to a blog is better but the traffic may be reduce even they reach the intended sales page...

First option. Why would you want to filter out even more potential customers by taking them to your blog?

Alternatively you could link from your articles to a pre-sell page then to the sales page.

Why confuse people with your blog?

If the article is well written they are ready to order.

Your loosing buyers your way, send them to your sales page, your article explains who, what, where, and why then grab them with the action page.

Thanks...I thought that by directing them to a blog, with more articles, will be able to build more trust.. Anyway thanks for all the comments

I will disagree here. It depends on the niche. Normally I would create an article for example 7 ways to...... in that article I would discuss 3 main ways and in the resource box i would include information (smooth transition) for the rest info go to my site. It will build a relationship with your people, they will recognize your blog remember it and come back. It is more likely that people will bookmark your good article rather than sales page. It is more likely people will share your article with another if it brings them more value rather than sale page or squeeze page. Just remember to create quality original content.
You can always split test and see for yourself.

    Good Luck

I think the answer really really really depends on how your article is written and the product that you are selling.

The best way for you to know is to test it out. Send the traffic from your articles to both sales page or blog-sales page, track it and see which converts better.
