How to handle multiple domains related to one product
I currently have an ebook that I am selling. I found a good domain name, built a WordPress blog, and am adding content to start drawing traffic and get that site ranked highly.
I also found a few other related domains where I was able to pick up the exact match domain. These aren't just slight changes of the first domain name, but different keywords (let's say that the first domain was CarRepair.com and one of the secondary domains is something like HowDoIFixMyBrakes.com).
With the ultimate goal of making money by selling the book, would you suggest I just do a re-direct from the secondary domains to the main one. Or would I be better off installing blogs at the secondary sites, maybe 'self-syndicating' posts from my main blog to these blogs (only on topics relevant to the secondary blog and maybe with a bit of spinning and changing the keywords to match the secondary domain's topic), and including links back to the main blog's sales page to sell the book? Or do you have a different idea that might get better results?
