Video optin page critique...

Hey everyone,

I just put together a video optin page for a new product I am working on.

I am going to start promoting this site tomorrow and was hopping you could tear it apart for me and let me know if there is anything I missed or anything that needs approved.

    First thing I noticed is that the opt-in box is below the fold. Maybe you could split-test that. I also noticed there is no "spam-free" promise. Other than those two things I think it looks great!

    I noticed the Bucs hat.. are you in Tampa too?

    Just a suggestion.. You may want to put the video and the opt-in box side by side above the fold so people see it without scrolling. Maybe even mention in the video "put your name and email in the box to the right" or something similar.

      I think it looks great...

      I think that you should stress your offer
      a little more in your video. Spend more time
      telling your prospects why they need what
      you have to offer.

      It wouldn't hurt to ad an optin box up
      higher as well.

    John is right.

    Most test will show that if your opt-in box is on the right hand side and above the fold it will boost opt-ins than any other set up you could try.

    People read left to right so you want to grab their attention with the video on the top left of the page...

    However most people are right handed and take action on the right side of the page... Grab your mouse and just move it to where its comfortable and chances are it ends up on the right near your scroll bar

    so with that placing your opt-in form on the top right will boost opt-in's

    john also hit the nail on the head when he said to tell people to "opt-in on the right" just giving people an action and taking them by the hand will get people to do what you want them to... opt-in

    product Name and website looks great!

      hey Michael,

      Thank you for pointing this spelling mistake out.

      The site is currently converting at a little over 20%. Do you have any other recommendations?
