Is that considered a "leak"?

Question for the affiliate marketers: do you consider a bare-bones sales page (no opt-in, no free trial etc.) placed on an internal page a leak?
Example: domain.com/product-page
Do you promote such products? (if the visitor shortens the url and opens the domain.com there can be other stuff there - articles, squeeze page whatever)
OR
Do you only promote products placed on the home page of a domain?

Personally I only promote stuff that has a single sales page at the front and no optins or squeeze pages. I hate using my resources to build someone elses list!

I have to say if I understand the question correctly I'm with Mr Thompson on this one.

After the effort I put in to get them to the sales page, pre sell it etc etc, the last thing I want is them to be distracted by anything but the sales page.
