Hi guys.

So the backlinks for my site haven't been indexed yet.

What's the best method for PAID traffic? what gets the best results? Of course opinions will be vary, but I could do with the advice

Well, I would say, just submit your blog or website in a social bookmarking site. That's the fastest and BEST of all.

Reasons:

Do-follow
Faster Indexing
If lucky, HEAVY Traffic

  Anyway, to answer the OP, there is no "best" in paid traffic. Put your self in one of those traffic. You get paid just to visit someone else's site and do what?
  
  Unless you are paying youtube views to pull-up your video, paid traffic is useless...

In my opinion, the best form of paid traffic would be investing in a keyword tool. Technically it's not "paid traffic" as such, but spending the money will go a long way to helping you rank in Google which will send a flood of traffic to your site. If you do it right, it will be highly targeted as well.

Just my opinion though.

For paid traffic i would suggest only to focus on Adwords. You can get flood of traffic if use wisely can convert into sales.

  I can't say from experience, but it occurs to me that it would be a giant flashing neon sign to anyone (or any software) at Google paying attention if you suddenly started getting a bunch of .edu and .gov backlinks out of the blue. Just sayin'.
  
  For paid traffic, learn how to do PPC first... and expect to "waste" $100 at a minimum as you test as a newbie. Of course, as long as you learn from that failure, you might get good enough to be profitable. Just understand that PPC is not easy for anyone new. And you have to be almost religious about tracking stats and doing lots of testing. Not for the faint of heart or the light of wallet.

What do you want?
Broad traffic or targeted traffic?

Broad traffic-> PTC (cheap but untargeted)

Targeted traffic, I suggest adwords in the Content Network,
get a tons of your keywords and pay the least you can to obtain your ads running

Later, try Bing/Yahoo adcenter and 7search (more cheaper)

Wouldn't the BEST be whatever worked for you? There are a few methods out there, but you need to experiment and find out what works best for you. That would be the BEST.

Same old same old. Who has any idea what you can do? I could give you the very best pair of basketball shoes... can you get a pro contract?

I could give you the very best graphite fly rod... will you know how to use it to catch fish?

Blah blah blah.

Forget about the BEST and look for tools that you can use to leverage your own skill set.

Why don't use automated software like BMD or Scrapebox, easy way to create more backlinks, more backlinks a greater chance that your site get index.

the best paid method is the one you test smaller scale to see if it works. That way you do not break the bank trying.

Test and measure, test and measure. Think small scale, small scale.

Then when you find out something is working....go nuts, and upscale it to the power of 10000

I normally find that with PPC for every $1 I spend I get about $2 back..... not too bad.
