Best web hosting company that PAYS their affiliates

INTERNET MARKETING

I am having a difficult decision to make on selecting the right web hosting company. Primarily for the hosting, but also for the affiliate program.

I am most concerned about web hosting affiliate scams that occur in this industry. So, I need your input on the best web hosting company that actually PAYS their affiliates. I have heard of commission thefts and commission shaving through CJ as well their recent class action lawsuit.

I have also googled "Hostgator affiliate scam" and found complaints about commission theft and shaving. I have generally heard good things about Hostgator. Although after reading complaints, I am not so sure now.

So, who do you recommend for hosting - the one that provides the best hosting service as well as the one that PAYS their affiliates all of their commissions and on time.

Share your hosting experience - the good, the bad, and the ugly. I would appreciate all input. Thanks.

I used to host with and promote Hostmonster. They provided good hosting and they paid me as an affiliate.

i'd say hostgator,though you have to wait for about 90 days before getting your cheque.

  Hostgator is becoming a sort of Go-To site when web hosting is concerned but sincerely you can promote others you do not use. It depends on what they offer.

A lot of the bad stories relating to Hostgator are due to the fact that they have a very rigid payout policy which affiliates do not read.

Someone has to buy hosting, upload files and renew the next month in order for a commission to become active. There are also a lot of fraudulent purchases on Hostgator as well, plus you will only get paid once per affiliate regardless of the number of plans they purchase in the future.

The only problem I have had with Hostgator is the erratic payout dates which are very frustrating as they can sometimes payout on the 1st and the next month pay out on 15th ....

Hostgator affiliate they are commission theft ,please don't promote that ..I am also going to remove that ..you know what I got after three months they replaced all my active commissions to duplicate after three months at the time of payment when I was waiting for three months ,how one guy after three months change his account to another same hostgator account or why he opens another account if he had one account..these are all questions at the time of payment ,This directly signifies that hostgator is taking our commission and this program is turning into big scam..so better try another ,Now the Hostgator turned into scam

I love Hostgator as a web host but I don't like their affiliate program - either their direct affiliate program or through CJ. Your customer does need to pay for 2 months hosting before they pay out and even then I had some customers continue past 2 months and never received the commissions.

Well, I've seen a lot of people lately bragging with some giant checks that they got from brainhost.com, have never tried them though, in fact i've never promoted hosting aff programs, I'm just saying ...

  I have been an affiliate for Bluehost for a while, and they have been paying no problem. However, I they have two ways of being an affiliate, one is through CJ and the other is directly through them. I had some customers sign up through my CJ links and would only get credit some of the time. Ended up switching to their direct affiliate and everything has been fine.

I use Hostgator, they're good and always paid their affiliates. I've never promoted anything else so I can't say if it's scam or not.
