How Much Are Case Studies Worth To You?

I am considering creating a WSO as a case study. When I say case study, I mean simply writing how I made a certain amount of money in a certain amount of time, but without all the how to's.

Do other marketers or people interested in becoming marketers like to read that stuff, and is it really worth while to any and all who read it?

I hope this isn't taken as a pre-sell thread, because that's not my intention. I'm just curious as to how people by these kinds of products or would be interested.

    I've done well selling case studies in the past - even as WSOs.

    I don't really like all the normal fluff people put around their products to try and make them sound better so I just go for "here's what I did, here's why I did it - here's what happened" type offerings and people respond well to that.

    I agree I have done a few case studies myself and it normally works well - people like them, whether they take action that is another story all together...

    But I agree with Andy, a case study is more REAL then just a product with loads of hype, fluff and filler.

      You could always give out a few review copies to some authority figures on here first and see what they think. I am sure, if you have been successful in marketing and you can prove it, you will do really well.

        I've been there and done that with review copies, and won't be giving out anymore. I will just have to hope my sales copy will be strong enough if I decide to run with it.
