Default Gonna try to build a list

Im gonna try to build a list since I´ve heard It a very important factor.

My question is: What is the best location to place the opt-in sign up offer?

Obviously I want customers to buy from me right away, but in case they dont I want them to easily be able to get the free offer, but... I dont want to place it in a way so that every visitor will skip the buy option and always go for the free offers.

I plan to insert the sign up forms on free sites such as squidoo, blogger and wordpress.
Since I heard that some free sites dont allow opt-in forms, I think I will make a graphic link to opt-in page on my webserver.

I would really appreciate some tips on how to properly place such an opt-in offer on the free sites I listed, but I don´t want it to distract from the sales offer.

Could you give me some advice and some graphical example would be even better

Sincerely
Karl

The best thing to do on a Squidoo page is take a picture of your optin box (screen print or what ever). Then put the image into squidoo with a link to your form to optin.

For example here is my lens

Benefits of Building A Niche Site

Hope this helps

Offer a free report on Squidoo and direct them to your site.

Create a special page on your site: yoursite.com/subscription.html

And also keep the subscription for on left/right menus of your site. (You know ... on top right side of WF, there is a subscriptionbox. It was not prominent in previous forum pages. Now it is so prominent on this new forum pages)

So a graphic always attracts visitor's eyes.
