Default Simple Steps To Your Website

Decide on a niche (you are not looking to clickbank for this one) look at alternatives like commission junction.

I was looking at godaddy for a domain name. One thing I do is use godaddy to put in a domain name I know isn't available, because they do come up with some good ideas. The other place is nameboy.com for coming up with names.

One name came which wasn't related to what I was looking at, but it did generate an interesting idea. I went over to namecheap and bought it.

It sat around for too long, and finally I created a site. I outsourced some articles, but the majority of the posts comes from 1 PLR ebook which I can break down into over 500 posts.

I mentioned it on twitter, and yesterday, I commented that the site was updated. I had over 200 unique visitors. Each month I have over 600 unique visitors plus those who return.

I have various affiliate programs there, and will be releasing an ebook there as well.

The point is anyone could have done this. It is a wordpress blog on my own hosting. The header was taken from a PLR header I had, and the name of the site added to it. I had 6 articles outsourced, and I had some unique information already that I could use. I have more than enough information to keep putting new, interesting posts on daily for the next two years, which isn't bad from a $0.99 PLR book.

Hopefully, this will give somebody a way to recycle those PLR books, when you don't want to write a sales page or create new graphics.

Hi Bev

That's good information.

How many affiliate products would you put on a site like that and how many would you consider too many?

Bev, this is a nifty little overview - especially since many of us have PLR sitting around on our computers just waiting to be used. Nice!

Hey Bev,

Thanks so much for the K.I.S.S. It is so true! Get the niche (which I think it the most critical step to one's success), learn and execute the basics, then go it again! Multiple streams of Internet income. It's a good thing

Blessings to you!

Hi Bev,

Do you re-write the content from the ebook to any extent, or simply use it as is?

Dave

Thanks for the comments. The site is in my signature (it's the blog)

Dave, I am using the content as is, just formatting it. The PLR is a recipe book, so I am breaking it down into single recipes and putting a recipe per day on the site. The PLR has over 600 recipes, and I also had a number of recipes from the UK which I am also using.

Disclaimer, not my fault if you put on weight with this blog

My waistline can't afford to read your blog Bev!

Went out to dinner last night with friends, and finished with three scoops of Belgian chocolate ice-cream with chocolate fudge sauce.

The bathroom scales are not amused!!

Bev, I think I put on 300 calories just reading some of those recipes

Seriously, great job. And a really simple, practical method to monetize all those PLR ebooks.

Hey Bev - if you could figure out a way to remove all the calories from those recipes (but keep the sinful goodness, of course!), I'll buy every product you create from here to eternity!

Bev,

Great job with the recipe blog. It's always nice to hear about someone taking action.

That's the problem with chocolate, the calories soon mount up. The good news is for men if you eat a small bar of chocolate a week, you will live a year longer, unless you have bad cholesterol.
