Are recurring/repeating Tweets ok with Twitter?

In Guy Kawasaki's Twitter tips[1], he says to repeat your tweets. I went looking for a way to do this, but only found 1 service (TwAitter) that actually does this. It's not clear to me whether Twitter currently allows this in their ToS. Back in 2009, SocialOomph stopped it [2], and TwAitter seems like they disabled, then re-enabled it a few months later[3].

I also can't find any mention of 'recur' or 'repeat' in these Twitter rules pages [4,5].

Anyone know the real deal on this? And if not, you can just tell me your favorite Twitter mgmt tool. ;-)

Thanks!

I can't post links, so unfortunately, you'll either have to search for these, or some other kind soul can reply to this post and post the links.

Don't ask whether "Twitter" likes it but your followers. I think this is the more important question. If you do something which annoys the real people in your list it is certainly not good to do.

It depends on what your tweeting. Since the tweet feed goes stale pretty quickly. Its not unusual or out of place to post something interesting more than once.
If your message will be seen as "SPAM" not an honest attempt to communicate, then repeating it will quickly becomes offensive.
An alternative is to create a 'dialog' with a follower that allows you to repeat a link without being repetitive because your simply discussing it.

Look under the "Spam" section: Twitter Help Center

Repeating the same tweets may get you labeled as a spammer.
