How Do I Know If My Hosting Is Playing Up?

I've had a reseller plan with hostgator for years now and have been pretty happy thus far. The problem is however is that some of my wordpress sites seem to take an age to load on my end and even don't load in their entireity (images missing) in some cases and I'm wondering if it's the hosting or some other reason for them taking so long to load.

When I run a speed test on them they seem to load just fine but not when I try to load them in the browser.

Heres the current service status of the server I'm on

System information

Server load 4.39 (22 CPUs) Memory Used 39.41% (1620288 of 4111028) Swap Used 3.28% (206404 of 6289412)
To me that seems ok but my sites don't seem to think so.

Any ideas?

    Hostgator run an excellent helpdesk -have you contacted them?

      Yeah I had it out with them a while back about it and they said as far as they could tell it was only on my end. I not tech savvy enough to know if they just pulling the wool over my eyes or what.

    i also have reseller account with hostgator , i am facing same problem with loading of websites nowadays. Especially with live chat. Even with us also server load is below 5 but it is very slow.But to make sure about your website problem , i suggest you to host your site on some other server on trial basis.
