Would You Buy A Business Off Ebay?

I have been talking to a guy on Ebay now for 2 weeks.

I have bought websites off ebay before and flipped them for good money.

But not so sure in 2011, I havent done this for a while....

would like to know you guys thoughts....maybe I can do this again.

Do you think it is still safe...I heard someone in here come and say he got scammed on ebay a few weeks back.

    Due diligence is the key to any transaction. Just be sure that you research the seller and the business before making your purchase. Also, see if the person is willing to go through escrow. I always recommend escrow when buying a business.

      I would never do this without escrow, especially the way the economy is at the moment. There are lots of people out to scam....Escrow does a pretty good job to help not get scammed. It is not total 100% scam proof, but i would say about 99% and that is good enough for me.

    I just used flippa a few days ago, and so far things are going great.
    of course always use escrow.
