What happened to WordPress MU?

I just recently heard about WordPress MU, and I want to install it, but when I go to their download page it doesn't have any download link and said something how the latest WordPress is integrated with it or something, but I don't see how...

Can somebody explain this/

    It's incorporated into Wordpress 3.0

    you need to enable it by editing the wp-config file

    add the line define('WP_ALLOW_MULTISITE', true);


    it can be a pain to get working !

      Thanks M Thompson. The reason I asked is because I'm trying to build a social networking site right now, and I'm incorporating BuddyPress, and everybody keeps saying BuddyPress should be used with WordPress MU...

      ...another thing is that I'm missing I'm missing an additional admin tab that is only appears to be available in WordPress MU that is not available in the latest WordPress, when I watched some tutorial videos.

        once you get wpmu enabled you have new tabs appear.. there are several video tutorials available
