What "Daily" Marketing Tasks .... ?

As Marketers, we generally need to make sure we are out there marketing our products / sites everyday.
  1. So, What marketing tasks / activities do you perform every day?
  2. How do you prioritize these tasks?
  3. How many hours do you spend on these tasks?

I'd be interested in seeing how a cross-section of Warriors approaches their "Must Do" Daily Marketing Task List.

Hopefully, this will help me and other warriors come up with our own Daily Marketing Task Lists To keep the marketing wheels in motion.

Actually, I think less in the "day-by-day", but more "month-by-month", if you catch my drift.

Literally, this means I focus less on the money now, and focus on working on big projects with really high return on investment.

So my "Must Do" tasks all play into one bigger plan, that comes together once everything is ready.

I plan out the big project, and the daily priorities.

That way I can move forward on it everyday.

Regarding how many hours I spend, I try to do 2 60-60-30's a day on my main projects, and work on my lesser projects in down time.

I submit 3 articles a day, add one post to my site with images, write 3 emails, submit 1 video, 1 podcast, and bookmark one page of my site with OnlyWire. Whenever possible, I book a solo ad to bring more subscribers.

Lastly, I try to think of what I can do to make my products better for affiliates and easier to sell.

My tasks vary each day but I always:

Log stats from my google analytics, aweber, crazy egg, youtube/facebook/twitter and article accounts.

I am logging them to see clearer patterns so I can test and tweak

(Doesn't take me long to do them)

Then I write an article (10 mins) and submit to eza, articlesbase and go articles. (dont have an article submitter or spinner yet) also submit article on pixelpipe.

Compile quick video tutorial, submit it to youtube, do yt broadcast, and add my video as a video comment, then use either tubemogul or pixelpipe to distribute

      • 1. Emails
        2. Manage Team
        3. Improve Affiliate Network
        4. Work On New Products

Looks like a small amount of time, but it's quite a bit and before I outsourced so much it was far too much time each night.

Wow! That's quite a lot of Action Items.

An Article in 10 Minutes! Wish I could have that kind of speed. It takes me more time than that to come up with a topic

I try to focus more on a weekly task list, so the day by day tasks will vary. With that said, it would probably break down to the following:

    1. SEO - primarily backlinking (article marketing, blog commenting, profile building, etc)
    2. Creating a few new posts for each blog
    3. Think of one new niche to start researching

Plus, with the benefit of outsourcing, the time allocation is much different than it would be if I did everything manually and on my own.

Mine is similar to this, with a bit of general marketing (i.e prospecting - this may not follow a set pattern), and some education of some kind too.

Check new emails, post an update in Facebook, do daily blog commenting on blogs in my list, adding several new blog posts in my sites.

For me, the first priority is making sure I provide fresh content to my sites. This has become a daily task due to the number of sites I have. Next, is making sure the SEO plan I put in place for each site is being done.

    Simpleology 102: System Power Praxis.

    Which consists of:

    1. System Intensity
    2. System Efficiency
    3. System Regeneration

Each is further split into exact "what to do" steps to infinitely keep growing your business monthly net income.

Every morning, you go through the System Praxis... and each time it drops an atomic bomb on your business if you're talking about the type of change it creates. It's that effective in my opinion.

System Praxis is a "Daily Marketing Plan" which is why I'm mentioning it here.
