Page Rank Calculation

Hi all,

Does anyone know how Google and some of the other major Search Engines compute Page Rank for a web page. Please show the formulae, and also show an example of how Page Rank is computed.

Her post said in part, "We’ve been telling people for a long time that they shouldn’t focus on PageRank so much; many site owners seem to think it's the most important metric for them to track, which is simply not true."
