Question About A Product Site I Want To Flip

I started using a method I learned here on this forum that involves creating product sites and flipping them. The problem is I do not know how much they go for. The first site I have created is only a few weeks old and has generated about 300.00$ from the short report I created for it. How much would this site flip for? I am asking so I can improve the price if it is not to my liking.

I think you should go to a site like flippa.com and look at comparables.

online real estate is a lot like regular real estate.

the price depends on supply and demand and there is no better way to gage the value of your website than to see what similar websites have recently sold for.

do your research and you'll find the information you need.

    good luck!

You could value it based on the amount of time that it took to build it or the amount of money that you think they will earn off it. Or simply put it up on an auction site like flippa and let the market decide.

There's simply too much information that we don't know about the site to say what we would pay for it. It might be worth a significant amount as suggested by the $300 in income or it might be ripe to be penalized for duplicate content and thus worth very little. Sheer speculation, at this point.

A good way to estimate how much it is worth is taking the monthly income and times it by 10. So if your site brings in 100 bucks a month, it should sell for 1,000.

It is a product based site, very simple really. I doubt if I could get ten times the money for it.

You would be surprised. Someone could see the $300 income and decide they want it for themselves. $3000 wouldn't be a bad investment, considering they could scale the income from the site, possibly making their money back within the first 2, 3, 4 months...then the rest is just profit minus the maintenance needed to keep the site making money.

If it's already generated $300 from 1 report, why not hold the site a little longer and see how much further you can take it? Try picking up affiliates and having them sell your product for you. Then you have a pretty hands-off passive income coming in.

I'm all about flipping, but I generally like to hold my sites and get a lot out of them before selling.

Since it's only a few weeks old, I don't think you will get the 10-12x revenue like others have mentioned. I could be wrong, but most buyers like to see more of a history if they are going to pay a year's worth of revenue or more.

$300 in a few weeks is good. Now build it up even more and you should easily be able to sell it for multiple thousands if you can keep the revenue consistent or growing.

I suggest you keep it. Why do you want to sell it.

I was trying to work this out the other day. What would a site with 200,000 page views a month for the last few years be worth?

What I am doing is based solely on a techique I learned a while back. My goal is to wash, rinse, and repeat the process as many times as I can.
