Snowed in? Let's make some money!

With a large part of the country snowed in, a lot of folks feel like more money is going to go down the toilet... or they won't make any sales.

This is a GOOD time for internet marketers!

If you're snowed in, you don't have any distractions to keep you from making hay while you can. You can focus on making a few bucks.

I tested out a nice video capture piece of software and made a couple of movies of web searches for a couple of businesses... then called them... told them I sent an email with a video link about them...

Landed a client out of state.

Talked to two present clients about moving forward with some of their business projects.

Set up a new product for consulting.

Developing a JV for a national distribution network.

All this in the last two days because I was "Snowed in." Couldn't do anything but work on some projects.

Maybe we need to have a few more "Snowed In" days?

Cheers,

Millard

The funny thing about that headline is I'm actually in Florida.

I was just out playing with the dog and had to come in because I was sweating my hind end off.

    It's like 80 outside right now :-)

Oh how I love living in Florida :-)

    Talk soon,

    Shannon Herod

I just came in from a nice break in the Sun, in my back yard. Almost 65 here. Now I need to get some work done.

So jealous. Snow was cool when I was a child, but now it is just annoying. Wish I was in Florida.

I'm in FL too. Yeah... that's why I get nothing done.

Actually, I'm a homebody and don't go out a lot -- on purpose. I love to drive by the beach and waste too much time and gas ($$$) doing it.

Like the other poster, snow was cool when I was a kid. I'm from CO and fully intended on moving back someday. Now as an adult, all that snow does NOT look fun! (And I've changed my mind about moving back. Maybe I'll just buy a summer home in Aspen instead...)

I recently reconnected with an old friend whom I haven't talked to in over 20 years. She's still back in Denver. A cousin (also in Denver) posted on Facebook about hating the treadmill so much that she piled on the clothing to run outdoors, even in freezing temps. The other morning when I woke up (at 5:30 AM), it was 64 here and -1 in Denver according to the weather app on my iPhone. Yikes! After over 20 years in FL, I don't think I could even get out of bed in -1 degree weather, much less go to work or run!

Seeing everyone's snow pics on Facebook and the weather reports on my iPhone make me SO grateful to live in FL.

Well, we're snowed in down here in Oklahoma. But I did stay busy making money writing articles for a client. Perfect timing.

My parents were going to go stir crazy. They couldn't wait to get out of the house, so they went to work today, and I'm glad they did, too.

Can you please come to my house and watch my kids so I can be productive? Pretty please? They haven't been outside in a month. The snow in my yard is 4ft tall and I'm worried I might lose them

Been cold here in Washington State but haven't had any real snow since around Christmas or something. It's in the 50s right now and as I'm watching from my desk I can see 2 people playing tennis outside.

Think I'll go take a walk, get some fresh air and then come back and do some work!
