    One suggestion that might help:
    Before you install ANY new software on your PC - create a restore point in windows.
    Then if something goes wrong you can easily restore your PC back to the state it was in before you installed it.
    There are a few exceptions - such as 'add ons' for programs such as Firefox - but these are pretty easy to find and remove

    You know you don't have to download the software.

    I mean you can to spy on competitors, but as far as I know you can use almost every CPV platform (Trafficvance, Lead Impact, Direct CPV, etc.) without having to download their software.

    I agree though- I used to have the TV software on my computer, but after a few weeks of having a popup every few sites I got rid of it.

    Hello Leo,

    have you done a spyware scan with spybot or adaware?

    Also, have you installed any special browser toolbars or join any website which required the installation of special software?

    Also, people voluntarily agree to receive popups when they install such software, so it is completely legal.
