Interesting rant, what brought this on ?

  • IM is just like MLM.
I heavily disagree with that, I hope you mean those mlm'ers make this statement and it is not YOUR opinion? Sorry in case I got that wrong

Affiliates in IM don't have to pay anything to promote a merchant in comparison to mlm where you have to pay to "join the system". Unless they join Mike Filsaimes network, lol!

Thanks for the long writeup though.

I guess you missed the words directly on front of the quoted part.
It is always being said. IM is just like MLM.
I didn't realize where I stand on MLM remains unknown LOL.

Sorry Aaron, I didn't stalk your posts to know you were posting a thing or two about MLM's in the past. Anyway, good to know it was NOT your opinion

Oh boy, another MLM post *cackles in delight*

I have been in about 5 MLM's now and I've lost close to $6k doing them. I know, I know. My latest endeavor with MLM is with a company that is a lot better than any other I've been in. You are not required to make your downline into distributors which is a relief. You can make your entire check off product sales alone. I trust the company completely, they've been around since the 70's and I don't think they're going anywhere soon.

But anywho, the way to make MLM work, IMHO is to sell the idea to those who are looking for MLM. Otherwise you just look like a desperate fool trying to hawk it off onto friends and family. If they ask you what you're doing, fine. It's the quickest way to make people duck and run for cover. I hate the GD memory joggers you get with these companies. So ridiculous.

My two cents. It can work, you just have to understand who's looking for this type of opportunities and products, you know?

    This is unbelievable nonsense!

Not one of the people I know who are highly successful in MLM has ever used their so-called "warm market" for prospecting, product sales or anything else connected with the business at all.

I'm no great advocate of MLM at all. I tried it, don't like it, dropped out of it and am glad that I did.

But your statements about it are way off the mark, Aaron!

    Wrong.

Many successful companies have no autoship requirements.

Do you actually know what you're talking about, here, at all?

    Ludicrous nonsense.

Here's the blog of a Russian girl, who at the age of 26/27 has already made more than 7-figures through MLM. She doesn't work with and won't sponsor people who want to use their "warm market" for prospecting and/or sales at all. And neither does anyone else in her company. You're just talking nonsense.

Are you willing to read that, and learn something, or do you just want to "be right"?!

Aaron, what triggered the outburst? You sound just like someone who's just survived a recruiting ambush by someone whose warm market you are in...

What effect did you think ranting here was going to have?

For those who already agree with you, you're just preaching to the choir.

For those who don't, you're just another 'hater' who doesn't understand the magic dance of the sticks and balls.

If it left you feeling better, then at least it wasn't a total waste of electrons...

      You are right John.

This wasn't the right way to vent.

      Sorry for the rant.

I'm sure someone has a copy saved.

I already have emails from 3 people I know in mlm about what I wrote.

I got everything off my chest, but this is a case where it is best to just burn the letter and not send it. Or in this case delete.

I think this would have turned into one of those epic threads and it would have been a waste of everyones time.

Enough of people's time was wasted as it was.

I had no business going off on mlmers like that.

Again I apologize to everyone who had to read that.
